Data Deletion

Last updated 29 July 2026

Your study data is yours. Here is exactly how to remove part of it, or all of it.

1. Delete individual items yourself

Courses, assignments, exams, study sessions, flashcard decks, quizzes and uploaded documents can each be deleted from inside the app. Deleting a document also removes the stored file and the summaries and cards generated from it.

2. Delete your whole account

  • Email hello@northauracollection.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account", or use the support form with the "Privacy or data deletion" category.
  • We verify the request comes from the account holder.
  • We action verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

3. What gets deleted

  • Your profile, courses, assignments, exams and study sessions.
  • Flashcard decks, cards, quizzes, questions and attempt history.
  • Uploaded documents, extracted text and AI-generated summaries and sections.
  • Chat history with the AI Study Coach and AI usage counters.
  • Your login credentials and sign-in identities.

4. What we may keep, and why

  • Encrypted backups, which age out up to 30 days in encrypted backups.
  • Invoices and payment records held by Stripe and by us for up to 7 years, where tax and accounting law requires it.
  • Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.
  • Records we must keep to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms.

5. Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription refund entitlement. Cancel from Account and Subscription before requesting deletion so no further renewal is charged.

6. Export before you delete

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Download your document summaries and notes first, or ask us for a copy of your data at the same address.
